837-800If you have a positive pregnancy test, you have three choices to consider:

Abortion

If you’re considering abortion as an option, it is important to remember that abortion is a medical procedure. What type of abortion will you have? What are the risks of each type?  We share the implications of all your options so that you are equipped to make an informed decision.

Maybe abortion is something you’ve never thought about before. Or, perhaps you’ve always considered it an option if faced with this situation.

Perhaps you’re thinking:

  • The father is insisting on an abortion.
  • I’m not ready to be a parent.
  • I'm scared; I can’t tell anyone I’m pregnant.
  • I'm confused and don't know what to do.

You’re not alone. Some of us have been where you are. Our staff wants to help you understand your options, your pregnancy, discuss your circumstances and explain your abortion option.   We would love to talk with you.

All of our services are free and confidential; therefore, we do not profit from the decision you make. We are here to help you navigate through your options so that you can make a well-informed decision.

Adoption

Are you considering adoption?

Adoption is a worthy option to consider if you find yourself in an unplanned pregnancy and concerned about how you would parent at this stage in your life.  Adoption can be a good parenting choice for both you and your baby as it provides a different, yet healthy way to provide for your baby.  It means you can create a parenting plan that will have your child's best interests at heart and gives your child the life that you truly want for him or her.   Some women choose adoption because they want to provide their baby with both a mom and a dad, and all the security that they can provide.

Creating an adoption plan gives you a number of choices:

  • You can choose a family for your child.
  • You can choose: an open, semi-open, or confidential adoption. These options include varying degrees of confidentiality and openness in the adoption process, so you can choose the one that’s best for you.
  • The decision to make an adoption plan can be made any time during your pregnancy or even after your baby is born.

You probably have many questions when thinking about adoption.  Crossroads Pregnancy Center has great resources to help you decide if this is the healthiest option for you.
